Before guests arrive

Take one wide photo of the room and one close-up of a detail you made. Clear visual clutter only if it takes a moment. You do not need to stage the whole house.

During the celebration

Capture one activity, one interaction, and the cake moment. Ask another adult to take a photo with you in it. Avoid blocking the child’s view of friends and family to get a picture.

The sixth frame

Take a relaxed group photo while people are together. Invite participation without forcing it. If someone does not want a photo, respect that.

Afterward

Choose a small set of favorites, add a date and caption, and back them up. Ask permission before sharing guests’ pictures publicly. Your album can be complete without documenting every minute.
