The little moments are the big ones.
A ten-minute habit for keeping the everyday stories you never want to forget.

Collect three things each week
Choose one photo, one sentence someone said, and one tiny detail about the week. It might be the breakfast your child keeps requesting, a new expression, or the song on repeat in the car. Three small things are easier to keep than a complete family history.
Give your photos a home
Create a monthly album in the photo system you already use. Move your favorites into it once a week. Keep a separate backup of photos you cannot replace. A favorites folder is an editing step, not a backup.
Print fewer photos, more often
Pick six to twelve favorites at the end of each month. Write a date and a few words on the back with a photo-safe pen, or on a separate card. Store prints away from heat and sunlight. Check album materials for photo-safe labeling.
Keep the imperfect frames
Include everyday rooms, sleepy cuddles, a flour-covered counter, and your own face. A beautiful record of life needs more than birthdays and coordinated outfits.
Make it a shared ritual
Ask each family member for a favorite moment. Write their words as they say them. Keep family albums private by default and ask before posting someone else’s child.
Start with one idea from this guide. Use what you already have, and leave the rest for another day.
